A Help Guide To Toto From Beginning To End

TOTO Toilets Help Consumers Navigate the New Normal

The COVID-19 pandemic has brought a new normal to the lives of a lot of people. TOTO makes use of its technology to help people navigate this New Normal.

Toto's culture is founded on the principle of Kaisen, or "perfection". Their latest toilet, called the WELLNESS TOILET, uses cutting-edge sensing technologies to support the health of consumers.

Water Sense Technology

WaterSense-labeled fixtures for plumbing are EPA-approved and help save energy and water while delivering a safe, reliable performance. TOTO USA is one of the first companies to be awarded a WaterSense Label for its EcoPower flush valves, as well as commercial flushometers.

Our Aquia IV dual-flush toilet is an excellent example of a bathroom fixture that is high-efficiency. It uses just 1.28 gallons of water for each flush. This is less than 1.6 gallons required to meet EPA standards. The Aquia IV features TOTO TORNADO FLUSH technology that reduces the frequency of bowl cleaning and the need for additional flushes.

Installing a low-flowing showerhead will cut down on the amount of water you use when bathing or washing. Our high-efficiency showerheads are WaterSense certified and come with the most advanced technology to ensure top performance and ease of use.

Limiting the use of water is crucial in a world that is constantly experiencing water shortages. TOTO's EcoPower Technology, found in the Aquia IV and NEXUS toilets, helps reduce water usage by using only 1.28 gallons of water for each flush.

TOTO's elongated toilets are EPA approved for high efficiency. The elongated toilets have a round or elongated basin and an ADA-compliant 17-19 inch height. We also have an elongated and compact toilet that is ideal for smaller spaces and consumes only 0.9 grams of water per flush.

TOTO's bidet wands are among the most sought-after by the industry for both home and office use. They're not only a cost-effective alternative to toilet paper, but they are also more effective, as they offer a full body wash that makes you feel refreshed and confident. The NEXUS bidet features our EWATER+ technology, which is created by electrolyzing tap water to produce the solution of sodium chloride ions as well as hypochlorous acid. This results in a powerful disinfectant that kills viruses, bacteria and other pathogens, all the while leaving your skin and environment unaffected.

ADA Compliant

When shopping for an ADA compatible integrated toilet and bidet+ system You may encounter terminology such as "universal height" and "ADA compliant." While there is a correlation between the two, it's important to note that not all universal height toilets are ADA compliant and vice versa.

The ADA standards, as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act, are designed to be inclusive of all ages and abilities. This includes those with mobility issues and lower body strength. By incorporating these standards into their products, Toto ensures that their customers will have the bathroom experience they want with the added benefit of ease of use.

TOTO's ADA-compliant toilets have one-piece construction that instantly beautifies any bathroom and provides a functional advantage in comparison to traditional two-piece designs. By removing the gap between the bowl and tank TOTO's one-piece designs facilitate cleaning by preventing the accumulation of dirt and debris. TOTO's Eco UltraMax toilets also come with a high-efficiency flushing system that is water-efficient. These toilets are water-efficient and consume 1.28 Gallons per Flush (GPF) or less.

One-Piece or Two-Piece Design

While Japan is awed by its technological advancements, it also has a deep respect for the humble toilet. The Toilet Museum in Japan, which was established in 1998, uses these attributes to inspire people to reconsider their toilet habits. The museum employs an electric motorcycle powered by poop to demonstrate the fact that TOTO products are both efficient and environmentally green.

The museum also features TOTO's innovation history, from the first flush up to the aeration-based toilet that requires less water and reduces waste by 90 percent. The Washlet is also featured in this area. It makes use of jets to clean and dry the user, while masking embarrassing sounds from the toilet by making bird-like sounds.
